Corruption is one of the biggest threats to environmental sustainability, enabling illegal activities that harm ecosystems, deplete natural resources, and endanger communities worldwide. From illegal logging and mining to the manipulation of environmental policies, corruption is a key driver of environmental degradation. Addressing this issue is essential for ensuring transparency, accountability, and the effective protection of our planet.

PILnet and Transparency International – Russia in exile are excited to invite you to a free series of webinars addressing the critical issue of green corruption around the world. This series, running from March to May, will explore the intersection of corruption and environmental degradation, equipping participants with knowledge and tools to tackle corruption in environmental governance.
